Melissa Ann Guinn Kahle was born September 2, 1980 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She lost her very courageous battle against Metastatic Breast Cancer at home on Thursday, December 18, 2014 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Melissa graduated from Union High School in 1999. She attended Oklahoma State University and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2004.
She married Brandon Kahle on June 5, 2004 and from that marriage 3 children were born – Avery, Braylin and Case.
Melissa loved agriculture. She loved helping with the pigs, the cows and having chickens at the Kahle farm. She was very proud of the Sapulpa FFA and thrilled when she was named an Honorary FFA member by the Sapulpa chapter. She was dedicated to her job as a teacher and loved her time in the classroom.
In addition to Brandon, Avery, Braylin and Case, Melissa is survived by her parents, Ron and Sara Guinn, grandma Betty Hasselbring, father-in-law, Marlin Kahle and Emily Bovard, brother-in-law Trevis Kahle and wife Meghan, sister-in-law Lexie Biswell and husband Jason, great-grandma Leta Belle Barnett, and many nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends that she considered family.
