Obituary of Virgil Dewayne Gremore

Virgil D. Gremore was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma on February 8, 1933 to parents Virgil Leo Gremore and Willie Loyce Tilley. He was one of three children, with siblings Joy and Johnnie. He left this old world behind to be with Jesus on May 25, 2016. Virgil was blessed with one child, Teri Elaine (Gremore)Leehan. He traveled the world working as a drilling consultant in the oil field. He worked overseas in such places as Mozambique, South Africa, the Sarah Desert and the island of Malta, just to name a few. He and his wife, Linda, raised and worked with Arabian horses for 38 years. Virgil was preceded in death by his former wife, Wilma Crabtree Gremore; and one sister Joy Janice Marshall. Left behind with numerous, wonderful memories are his wife, Linda McCormack Gremore; daughter, Teri Elaine Leehan; and sister, Johnnie Warner. He is also survived by one granddaughter, Tabitha Skye Leehan; one great-granddaughter, McKenzie Jade Melancon; and one great-grandson, Braxten Charles Boutin. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Sapulpa. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Green Hill Funeral Home. The family has entrusted the services to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home. 9182242312/www.greenhillok.com
