Obituary of William Earl Wells

William “Bill” Wells was born in Onapa “O napa”, OK., on February 7, 1938, to Clifford T. and Latain (Sharp) Wells. He was one of four children: Charlie, Shirley, and Helen. He left this world May 27, 2016. Bill was blessed with four sons from his first marriage. Then again blessed with two sons and two daughters from his second marriage to Glenda of thirty years. Bill was a fitter-welder by trade. He worked at Sunoil and also owned two small businesses. He was a willing volunteer of the churches he attended. He served Metro Pentecostal Church as a Head Usher for several years. Recently, he made several wooden hands for a Sunday School class for Mothers’ Day gifts. He also loved to keep the grounds. It was his job to see that the spiral cedars were trimmed at Metro PC. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Charlie Wells, and his son, Billy Wells. Bill is survived by his wife, Glenda Wells, of Mounds, OK.; his children: Bobby Wells, Tim Wells, Terry Wells, Chris & Tina Ford of Sapulpa; Marsha Ford of Sapulpa, Anita Barrick of Sapulpa, and Arthur & Stacy Batson of the state of Washington; 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren as well as other family members and many friends. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Metro Pentecostal Church in Tulsa (8611 E. 21st St. Tulsa). Burial will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation is scheduled from 3-8 pm Monday at Green Hill Funeral Home. The family has entrusted the services to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home. 9182242312/www/greenhillok.com
