Obituary of Danny Lane Buchanan

Danny Lane Buchanan of Kellyville, Oklahoma left this life on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the age of 59. Dan was born to Winnie and Jake Buchanan on August 7, 1956 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Willia Buchanan; sons Marvin D. Blackwell; and Christopher Wade Blackwell; grandson Shilo Lane Blackwell. He is also survived by brothers Raymond Buchanan; and Eddy Buchanan; sisters Fannie Giacomo; Martha Wright; Mary King; and Diana James; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by mother Winnie Buchanan; father Jake Buchanan; sisters Betty Payne; Naomi Hulsey; Shirley Cloudus; Helen Degraffenreed; Bonnie Bristow; and brothers Louis Buchanan; and Thomas Buchanan; and several nieces and nephews. Danny left this life in a short time and will be greatly missed by everyone. Family will gather at 14 N. Lakeview in Kiefer, Oklahoma. Funeral Services are 2:00 pm Friday, August 12, 2016 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Green Hill Memorial Gardens following the service. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 1-8 pm Thursday with the family at the funeral home to greet visitors from 6-8 pm.
