Obituary of Doris Ann Baldridge

Doris (Holliday) Baldridge, 75, mother, grandmother (Nana), and great-grandmother passed into the Heavenly gates on August 6, 2016. Doris was born on August 9, 1940 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Willard and Wanda Holliday. She graduated from Rogers High School in 1958. She obtained her Associates Degree at Oklahoma State University. Her previous jobs include nurse’s aide and restaurant owner but her favorite was as a homemaker. Her hobbies were reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Doris is survived by her children Paula Vanderpool and husband Larry of Christiana, TN; Bobby Bailey and wife Michelle of Lafayette, TN; Glenda Baldridge of Kellyville, OK; Nancy McCarthy and husband Tony of Kellyville, OK; grandchildren Kristin Wills and husband Jason of Clarksville, TN; Cory Vanderpool of Christiana, TN; Thomas, Natalie and Talon McCarthy of Kellyville, OK; great-grandchildren Audrey, Emily and Charlotte Wills of Clarksville, TN; brother Phillip Holliday of Tulsa, OK’ and various nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Baldridge; parents Willard and Wanda Holliday; son Thomas Bailey; brother Bill Holliday and sister Irene Platten. The family wants to give a special thanks to Grace Hospice and Meadow Brook Nursing home for the excellent care provided to Doris. A Memorial Service to Celebrate her life will be held at 2:30 pm Friday, August 26, 2016 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
