Ray was born in Phoenix, AZ. on October 8, 1953 to A.G. and Eunice Johnson. He was raised in Beggs, Oklahoma and graduated from Beggs High School. Ray accepted Christ at an early age and united with Calvary Baptist Church, Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Ray worked at Stone Container over twenty years. In later years Ray and his brother Earl worked together in the concrete industry as a concrete finisher. Ray loved to work on cars, if he found a steering wheel he would build a car around it. He was a very giving and loving person. Ray was loved by many, he departed this life on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 surrounded by his love ones. Ray leaves to cherish his precious memory, to his loving wife of 37 years Linda Johnson his mother Eunice Johnson, his 4 children Kristin Johnson, Eric Johnson, Aaron Johnson (Renika), and Marlin (Veronda )Johnson, his 5 brothers Earl Johnson, Carl (Camilia) Johnson, Charles Johnson, Arvin ( Kammie) Johnson, and Fredrick (Kathy) Johnson. Ray loved his grandchildren, Trey, Brennan, Brianna, Terrian, Markhi, Moriah, Marlin Jr., Karris, Sharris, Semaj, Raylen, Aaron Ray, Destiny. Also leaves to his memories Aunts Ava Miller of Parker, AZ, Lillie Johnson, Fairy Johnson and Shirley Johnson all of Pheonix, AZ, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
