Obituary of Georgia Maye Duke

Georgia Duke of Sapulpa, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 27, 2017.  She was 88 years old.  Georgia was born in Poteau, Oklahoma on August 9, 1928.

Georgia loved to read, do crossword puzzles and shop at Wal-Mart and the Dollar Tree.  Most of all she loved to be with her family and friends.  She always greeted you with a smile and a hug.  She was a long-time member at Faith Church in Glenpool.

Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Duke.  She is survived by her four children:  James L. Duke and wife Jan of Sapulpa, OK, Harland (Scooter) Duke and wife Kathy of Clayton, DE, Linda Goodman of Collinsville, OK, and Judy Canary and husband Chuck of Broken Arrow, OK.  She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great, great-granddaughter.

Funeral Services are scheduled at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Faith Church in Glenpool.  Visitation is scheduled from 3-8 pm at Green Hill Funeral Home in Sapulpa.  Burial in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.  9182242312 / www.greenhillok.com
