Obituary of Johnna Lee Ness

Johnna Lee Moore Ness passed away peacefully on February 22, 2017.  Johnna was born May 5, 1939 in Tulsa, OK, the daughter of Clyde Lucille and Millard Patten (Johnny) Moore. Johnna grew up in Tulsa where she attended Will Rogers High School and Oklahoma State University.  She married her high school sweetheart, Loren Don Ness on July 24, 1959.

Johnna was a homemaker, community volunteer and well-respected artist.  Her art is well loved by all whom have had the pleasure to see.  Ultimately those who own her artwork, will hopefully enjoy it for a lifetime and beyond.

She and Don lived in Bartlesville, Tulsa, Bixby and Sapulpa, all of which were in Oklahoma.  In their retirement years, they relocated to Wake Forest, NC.

Johnna is survived by her three children, Kathy and Glenn Pribbenow of Lawrence, KS; Scott and Steffanie Ness of Wake Forest, NC; and Randy Ness of Victorville, CA; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Barbara and John Boos (Mississippi), and Beverly and Bob Warren (Louisiana). She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Don, and her parents.

A Life Celebration and Remembrance for both Johnna and Don Ness will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017, 10:30 a.m., at the Green Hill Funeral Home, 400 East Teel Rd., Sapulpa, OK.
