Obituary of Imo Jean Birdsong

Imo Jean Birdsong was born on July 16, 1928 in Snomac, Oklahoma.  She was born to Ramsey Keigley and Addie Mae (Davis) Keigley.  She passed from this life to her eternal life on March 14, 2018.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and stepmother Elsie Keigley; brother Thomas L. Keigley; and her husband of 61 years Ralph O. Birdsong.  She is survived by one sister Barbara Archer and husband Robert; sister-in-law Betty Keigley; three brothers Bob Keigley, Bill Keigley and wife Grace, and Pat Keigley, all of the Houston area.  Imo Jean was a retired LPN and a member of First Baptist Church of Sapulpa and Mountain View Baptist Church in Thomaston, Georgia.

 

She was a loving mother to five children: Judy Acree, Connie Fuller, Thomas P. Birdsong and wife Susie, Joi Coolidge and her fiancé Bill Evans, and Bill Birdsong and wife Kristen.  She is survived by her five children, 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 8 great, great-grandchildren.

 

Imo Jean was an avid reader and kept up with current events, politics and Hollywood gossip faithfully.  Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

 

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, March 19, 2018 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation is scheduled from 1-8 pm on Sunday at Green Hill Funeral Home. The family has entrusted the services to Green Hill Funeral Home.  400 E. Teel Rd.  918-224-2312
