Opal Freda Kelly, widow of L.V. Kelly and long time resident of Sapulpa, died Monday, October 13, 2008 at the age of 90. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Bob Branson; and grandchildren, Barry and Melissa Kinney and Chris Etheridge. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, serveral nephews & cousins. Opal worked for many years at Miller Jewerley Store and Rainwater Jewerly. In earlier years she enjoyed sewing, crafts, cooking and going fishing with L.V. and their oldest and dearest friends, J.C. and Zelma Hunt. Opal was a member of the First Baptist Church for over 60 years and was involved in many of its activities and ministries. Opal was an active staff member of the Little Friends Pre-school for several years. She deeply loved her church family and will be remembered by many for her faithfulness and caring concern for others.
