Obituary of Charles Smith

     Charles R. Smith passed away January 16, 2009 at St. Johns Hospital at the age of 68. He was born September 2, 1940. Charles grew up in Kiefer and later moved to Sapulpa. He retired from Oklahoma Forge after 35 years with the company. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his family.      He is preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Pearl Smith, 2 brothers Joel Smith and Harvey Smith one sister Ollie Mae Matthews.      He is survived by his wife Mary; 3 daughters; Lori Vahldick and husband Steve, Shelly Rochester and husband David, Lisa Cotero and husband Scott; brother; Jack Smith; sister; Eva McClung; grandchildren; Paul, Brittany, Ryan, Casey, Matthew, T.C., Amber, Chrystal and Brandon; great-grandchildren; Aiden, Alex and Collin.      Charles will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
