Obituary of Margie Jean Olansen

Please share a memory of Margie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Margie “Jean” Olansen was born in Turley, Oklahoma to Hubert and Dottie White on October 8, 1939.  She finished her earthly journey on October 27, 2019 at the age of 80.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband Charles Olansen, her parents, son Charles Allen Olansen, and siblings Grover White, Paul White, Bobbie White, Finis White and Betty Peal.  She is survived by children Joyce Olansen of the home, Dale Olansen and wife Sandi, Gail Ford and husband David all of Glenpool, OK, daughter Elizabeth McCall and husband Michael of Muskogee, OK.

She had a wonderful life; she loved her family and her time with her grandchildren.  She is also survived by many grandchildren; David and Jerria Ford, Charles and Mariah Ford, Sterling and Ashley Ford, Mike and Anna McCall, Joshua McCall, Stephan and Jalexa McCall, Shaina and Dylan Arnold, Christopher Troxell, Dusti and Derrick Morris. She found great joy in her great-grandchildren; Hurricane Troglin, Ryder Ford, Landon Ford, Maizely Ford, Taryn McCall, Michael McCall, Morgan McCall, Tasha McCall and Braxton Morris.  She also had the opportunity to see her great, great-grandchild Tabitha Rose Eipp.  Jean was survived by her nephew Bobby White, Jr. as well as many more.  She loved each and every one of them.

Jean loved going camping every weekend with the love of her life, her husband Charles, and many family and friends.  She enjoyed having family nights and holidays when she would have 25 to 30 people in her home, playing poker, having BBQs or maybe just sitting and enjoying the company.  In the last several years she enjoyed going to the casino.  She couldn’t see the numbers but listened for the machine to play music to know if she won something. She enjoyed watching some of her Elvis and Western movies.  She didn’t care about money or material things.  She just wanted to take care of everything and everyone.  She believed saying I love you to each other was the most important thing in this world.  She truly loved her family and friends…until we meet again.
