Donald “Don” Gidion Davis, Jr. of Bristow, Oklahoma passed away Friday afternoon October 9, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Don was born in Bristow, Oklahoma on March 23, 1945 to Don and Lea Davis. Don had 2 siblings Phil Davis and Jenny Murray. Upon leaving home Don joined the National Guard and served his country for six years. He then spent the rest of his years being a truck driver and enjoying the open road. Don welcomed his first son Christopher Don Davis in 1975 and followed shortly after came his second son Brian Scott Davis in 1977. Don was a man of many passions which included trucking, working on vehicles, building and restoring old pickups and rolling around in his corvettes. He is survived by his wife, Irma; 2 children, Chris & Scott; 12 grandchildren, Jacob, Hunter, Courtney, Sean, Tyler, Darien, Cody, Caitlynn, Kelsey, Makale, Jake and Hanna and 9 great grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family members and friends. Don was predeceased by his parents, Don and Lea. A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020, at 10:30 a.m., in Green Hill Memorial Gardens, 400 East Teel Road, Sapulpa, Oklahoma. www.greenhillok.com
