Charles “CJ” Lee Hardesty passed away on November 16th, 2020, at Hillcrest Hospital South. CJ was born on January 26th, 1957, in Tulsa, to Charles Lee Sr, and JoAnn Hardesty. CJ was married to Lisa on September 16th, 1989. He was retired after 14 years of employment with the Pixley Lumber Co. in Claremore, and his favorite color was orange. He was an avid sports fan, and his favorite football teams were OSU & Dallas Cowboys, but he loved OSU more. His favorite baseball team was the St. Louis Cardinals. CJ was passionate about softball, family, and especially his grandchildren. He also loved fishing and playing golf. CJ loved his church, the Foyil First Assembly of God. He loved helping out at the food giveaways, and other activities and church functions. CJ is survived by his wife Lisa of Claremore, sons Steven Lloyd of Tulsa, Buck and wife Becca of Stilwell, Charles the III and wife Cassi of Claremore, daughters Dusty and husband Mike of Mounds, Hailey and husband Zach of Stillwater, brothers Russell of Tulsa, Paul and wife Karen of Parsons, KS, John of AR, and Mike of Claremore. He is also survived by grandsons Brandon, Austin Dale, Austen James, Colton, Devan, and granddaughters Danielle, Kady, Branda, Josie, Bailey, and Brooklyn. CJ was preceded in death by his father Charles Sr, mother JoAnn, and one sister, Lynn. Masks are required for Visitation and Funeral Services.
