Walter Charles Lykins (Wally), 63 years old of Broken Arrow, OK, died on November 20, 2020 at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa from lung cancer, with his son Justin (Jay) Lykins and his ex-wife Karen Bendell at his side. Walter was born on May 24, 1957 at Osteopathic Hospital of Tulsa. His parents were Harold and Betty Lykins. He had three siblings: older sister Wyvonna, older brother Harold (Wayne), and younger sister Kathy. Walter attended high school at Broken Arrow High School where he played varsity football. Walter was married from 1979-1984 to Dyanne, they had no children. He was married to Karen from 1985-1990 and they gave birth to Nathan and Justin Lykins and Walter had a step-son, Brandon from that marriage. Walter was a retired machinist, construction worker. Walter enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and anything outdoors. He spent the last six months of his life camping and fishing with his son Jay, granddaughter Addie and ex-wife Karen, it was definitely the happiest time of his life. Walter is survived by his sister Kathy King, brother Harold (Wayne) Lykins, son Justin (Jay) Lykins, granddaughter Adalyn (Addie) Lykins, and many nieces, nephews and close family friends. Walter was preceded in death by his parents Harold M. Lykins and Betty P. Cooley, sister Wyvonna Ellis, and son Nathan Lykins. www.greenhillok.com
