Beverly Carter, known to her friends as "Bebe" was born on March 3, 1932 in Glassmere, Pennsylvania and has been a long time resident of Sapulpa, Oklahoma since 1965. Beverly departed peacefully from her earthly home to her Heavenly home on Monday, January 5, 2009 at the age of 76 years after a long and courageous battle with cancer.      Beverly graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1950 and after graduation she had several jobs which included the College in Okmulgee where she met, Robert (Bob) Carter on a blind date in 1953. They were married for 55 years 9 months and 1 day.      They moved to Sapulpa and then later built on their farm in Kellyville where Beverly gardened and tended to her flowers she loved. Beverly worked and was the head bookkeeper at Security National Bank in Sapulpa from 1975 until she retired in 1997. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sapulpa.      She was preceded in death by her parents; Josephine Colin Remy and Oscar Joseph Remy who both passed away in 1977.      Beverly is survived by her husband, Bob of 55 years and two living sons; Tim Carter and wife, Mary of Sapulpa, Robbie Carter and wife, Regina of Kellyville; sister, Jacklyn Remy Cook and her husband, P.H. Cook who live in Pflugerville, Texas; grandchildren, Devin Carter, Ashley Droz, Nathan Carter and Caleb Carter and also her 5 great grandchildren she adored.      Beverly really enjoyed her life as a wife, mother to her two sons and grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We will all miss her open armed greetings and kisses she gave when you walked in the door.      We would like to express our sincere "Thanks" for the people who helped care for her, and the staff of St. John's Hospital and hospice.
