Obituary of LOIS JOHNSON

Lois Jean Johnson passed away Monday, January 5, 2009 at Meadow View Health Care Center in Huntsville, Arkansas.  She was 76 years of age.  Lois was born September 12, 1932 to Osgood and Florence Johnson.  She was a long time resident of Sapulpa, born and raised in Sapulpa and only leaving at the twilight of her life to be closer to family in Arkansas. She was a 1950's graduate of Sapulpa High School where she had been a member of the marching band.  She later went to work for Barltett-Collins Glass Company in the office.  She retired from Sun Oil Company in 1987 after 25 years as an accountant.  After that she spent time as a cashier at Tru Discount until they closed their doors for the last time.       Lois loved her Pekinese and her cats. She loved to work with flowers and to cook and bake.  In her younger years she loved to bowl and spent many hours at the bowling alley in Sapulpa.       Preceding Lois in death were her parents, her sister, Betty Blair and nephew, Skip Booker.  She is survived by two nieces, Donna Blair Booker of Rogers, Arkansas and Diane Blair Pinsart of Tulsa; two great nephews, Eric Pinsart and Stephanie of Broken Arrow and Isaac Pinsart and Christy of Owasso; two great great nephews, two great great nieces, brother-in-law Bob Blair of Sapulpa, several cousins, other family members and friends, especially those she made at the Meadow View Health Care Center.
