     Joe was born to John and Hattie (Jackson) Collins in Wetumka, Oklahoma on February 9, 1928. He was preceded in death by his father, John and mother, Hattie; brother, Earl; three sisters, Pauline, Isabell and Dortha.      Joe was a welder, a pumper for an oil company, owner of a barber shop, preacher, guitar player, song writer and singer. Joe worked for several security companies as a special police officer and retired from Bank of Oklahoma as a training officer in Security. Joe was in the Navy aboard the USS Springfield in the South Pacific in World War II.      Joe is survived by the love of his life, Jean and they were married in 1948. They had no children.
