Donna was born August 30th, 1942 to Leona and Aubrey Brothers of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She had an older brother Roy and later welcomed two younger siblings Robert and Faylene. They lived an idyllic small-town life riding bikes, playing in park, and learning to ride horses on her grandparent’s farms around Inola, Oklahoma. Family, friends and school filled her days growing up in Sand Springs.
Glenn and Donna where married October 7, 1988 and over the next 30 years they made a happy home in Kiefer with family, dogs, chickens, single-stroke engines, and entire barn dedicated to Donna’s sewing and quilting. They loved to spend their evenings sitting on the front porch.
Her home was a reflection of her. She could sew anything. She also enjoyed needlepoint and cross-stitch. Donna loved crossword puzzles and word scrambles.
