Obituary of Cynthia Sue Martin

Please share a memory of Cynthia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Cynthia Sue Martin (Payne), who is lovingly known as Cindy to family and friends, was born on December 11, 1960, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to parents Edward and Jeanette Payne. She passed away on March 11, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Cindy attended Broken Arrow Public Schools. After High School, she enjoyed a long and successful career at DMI International.

Cindy’s love for her family reflected every day. She adored her grandson, Leo, who was her shining light. She loved dogs, especially hers- Molly, Daisy, Tippy, Petey, Jax and Honey. She also loved all music, but rock music was her thing; she was a rocker! She enjoyed going to concerts with friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Jeanette Payne, grandparents Mozelle and Glen Raby, uncle Jerry Raby, sister Rhonda McEwen, brother-in-law Gary McEwen, niece Cissy Sheets, nephews Michael McEwen and Christian Sheets.

She is survived by her husband Wade Snider of Sand Springs, daughters Kinsey and husband Gage Stidham and Kelsey Martin, sisters LaVonda Comstock, Mindy Payne, cherished grandson Leo Stidham, nephews Brian (Nicole) Comstock, Scott Comstock  great niece Olivia Comstock, and cousins.

Above all, Cindy was an amazing sister, cousin, friend, aunt, wife, mom and mimi. She was someone you could call anytime for anything.

Cindy will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy lives on in her girls and Leo.

Arrangements are in the care of Green Hill Funeral Home.
