Stephen Floyd Ferguson was born on September 12th, 1948, in Maysville, Arkansas to John and Evelyn Ferguson. He passed away and went to be with his Heavenly Father on March 25th, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
In his younger years, Stephen enjoyed bowling and bowled in local leagues, developing a passion for the sport that he carried with him throughout his life. He also studied Karate for a time and was a proud member of the CB club in the 1970s and 80s, where he built lasting friendships and enjoyed the camaraderie of those around him.
A man of many passions, Stephen’s love for sports was evident throughout his life. He coached youth baseball and enjoyed playing softball. He was also an avid pool player, spending countless hours honing his skills with friends and family. But above all, his greatest joy was the time he spent with his loved ones, especially his grandchildren, whom he adored and cherished. Stephen’s family was the center of his world, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Stephen was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He was the proud grandfather to 15 grandchildren, each of whom he held dear: Clint Ferguson of Moore, Oklahoma; Dylan Ferguson of Moore, Oklahoma; Joshua and Megan Fiscus of Amber, Oklahoma; Cody and Jamie Littlebear of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Breanna Littlebear of Coweta, Oklahoma; Forrest, Logan, and Austin Watts of Owasso, Oklahoma; Joshua and Makenzie Yancey of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Cierra Ferguson of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Hannah and Ava Ferguson of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and Hunter, Hudson, and Harrison Keith of Glenpool, Oklahoma, and two identical granddaughters whom are on the way.
Stephen was preceded in death by his mother and father, John Ferguson and Evelyn Lofton, his stepfather, Raymond Lofton, and his precious great-granddaughter, Layla Littlebear. Though they are no longer with us, their memories and love continue to be felt by those who remain.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Vicki J. Ferguson of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and their five children: Richard and Tami Ferguson of Moore, Oklahoma; Bobby and Robin Littlebear-Watts of Coweta, Oklahoma; Donnie and Kim Ferguson of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Tim and Terri Ferguson of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and Joe and Jessica Keith of Glenpool, Oklahoma, his brother Larry Ferguson of Stillwater, Oklahoma; his sister Ron and Julie Ricke of Billings, Oklahoma; brother-in-law Kevin Fleetwood of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; sister-in-law. Tammy Pennington of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and he also leaves behind the excitement of two identical great-granddaughters on the way, who will continue his legacy.
Stephen’s warm heart, infectious smile, and devotion to his family will be deeply missed. His life was a testament to the power of love, and his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Rest in peace, Stephen.
