DeLain (Dee) McCaslin, age 78, passed away on May 11, 2025.  Dee was born March 06, 1947, to James Doyle Kilpatrick and Mary Maxine Henson Kilpatrick in Dermott Arkansas. She later moved to Arizona where she met and married James Ray McCaslin and had Daughter Kathryn (Kathy) McCaslin Newman. They moved to Oklahoma where they had a daughter named Jamie Renee McCaslin McDonald. There, her and her sister Doylean started a wallpaper business. She was also manager and bookkeeper throughout the years.

When she was younger, she enjoyed softball, reading and dancing.  She really enjoyed game nights with the family playing cards, yahtzee and dominoes.  She was loving and had a great sense of humor.  She loved her sci-fi movies and never met a stranger.

She is preceded in death by her parents James Doyle Kilpatrick and Mary Maxine Henson Kilpatrick, siblings Mary Schroth, Betty Deadmon, Eugene Kilpatrick, Carolyn Yarber and Randy Kilpatrick, and grandson Daniel Paul Newman Jr.

She is survived by her sisters Doylean Kilpatrick Clark of Show Low, AZ and Brenda Kilpatrick Gurule of Tucson, AZ, daughters Kathryn (Kathy) McCaslin Newman and husband Dan, Jamie McCaslin McDonald and husband JP, grandchildren Amanda Bryant and husband Mike, Tyson Reeves and wife Hannah, Chance O’Lansen, Carrie Jackson and husband Roy, Trent Newman and wife KaSandra, Leann Helschel and husband Brandon, Misty McDonald and Josh McDonald along with many great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.
