Patricia (Pat) Kay Thomas, 84, a devoted Christian, wife, mother, sister, and grandmother was born on March 16th, 1941, in Tulsa Oklahoma to Roger and Gertrude Rush of Berryhill Oklahoma. She passed peacefully on June 4th, 2025, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.  

She attended Berryhill schools and met the love of her life, Henry Thomas, while living there. Henry and Pat were married on January 12th, 1956, and from this union they had three daughters, Vickie, Sandy, and Kelli.

Pat was strong in her faith and was instrumental in leading her husband and children to Christ. After moving to Olive where they attended Freedom Hill Baptist Church, they began their mission traveling to other states to help build Churches. Pat was also a Beautician for several years, and she also volunteered at the Women’s shelter in Tulsa.

She and Henry moved to Salina Oklahoma, where they attended Salina First Baptist and continued their mission work for twenty plus years. They met many close friends they called family. After spending much time in Salina, they finally moved to Sapulpa, Oklahoma to be closer to family, as family was very important to her. She loved showering them with her handy work of sewing and quilting.

Pat loved painting, working in the garden, and knocking down walls for dad to remodel. She loved Quilting and giving them to friends, family and kids in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents Roger and Gertrude Rush; Husband Henry Thomas; siblings Barbara Nobles, Katherine Fort, Linda Gant; and son-in-law Kenneth Sizemore.

Pat is survived by her sister Sue Carlock, and Brother and sister-in-love Jim and Kathy Rush; her children Vickie Sizemore, Sandy Cook husband Kenneth; and Kelli Thomas; 4 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews.
