Betty Loretta Foley was born on January 4th, 1937, in Vera, Oklahoma to George and Ollie Smiley. She left this earthly life for her heavenly home on June 8th, 2025.
Betty was an extremely talented crafter specializing in wooden pieces that she intricately painted. She also made beautiful jewelry. She also loved to cook and accumulated quite a collection of cookbooks.
Betty was an avid bowler all her life well into her later years. She had many bowling awards and loved to travel to the national bowling tournament every year. This was a passion she passed on to her four children who were all quite accomplished bowlers in their own right.
She was married to Gene Harrison for over 20 years period they had four children Chic, Randy, Ricky, and Suzette.
She was married to Robert Foley for 35 years. They enjoyed traveling all across the United states visiting 48 states in all. They both enjoyed bowling in the Air National Guard bowling league for many years. Robert helped her with her wood crafting and they went to many craft shows along with her sister Hazel who was also a talented crafter. They enjoyed trips to Las Vegas so much they moved there for a while and enjoyed playing slot machines in their spare time.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George Smiley and Ollie Wilcox, her stepparents Orval and Bernice Smiley, her son Chic Harrison and daughter Suzette Hearod, her husband Robert Foley, brothers Max Smiley, Steve Smiley, and Pete York, sisters Edna weeks, Trudy VanHorn, and Beverly Hatchet.
She is survived by her sons, Randy Harrison and wife Deborah, Ricky Harrison and wife Connie, daughter-in-law Deborah Harrison, grandchildren, Travis Harrison, Crystal Lister, Christopher Harrison, Cody Harrison, Miranda Hampton, Michelle Harrison, great grandchildren, Brooklyn Harrison, Zachary Engles, Kaleigh Harrison, Cheyenne Hampton, Jadon Harrison, Landon Harrison, C. J. Harrison, Khloe Harrison, Jacob Perrigo, and great great grandson Dwight Nicholson, sister Hazel McManus, brother Jim Smiley, many nieces and nephews, and her dear friend Darla Shoemaker.
