Betty Ruth Garoutte (Weins) was born on December 21, 1945, in Bristow, Oklahoma. She departed this world on June 12, 2025.

Betty had many careers in her lifetime including a truck driver, convenience store manager, bookkeeper, and an office manager. She loved dancing throughout her lifetime and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by husband Jack Garoutte, parents Henry and Lilly Weins, and three brothers Henry L. Weins, Art Weins, and Danny Weins.

Betty is survived by her children Kenneth Cooper and wife Libby of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Steve Seratte of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Gina Means and husband Patrick of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Gene Cooper of Tulsa, Oklahoma, 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
