Elizabeth Ann Fife Orr of Sapulpa, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025, at the age of 93. She was born on June 14, 1932, in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Dawes Fife and Irene Brown Fife. Elizabeth grew up in Sapulpa, where she attended school and remained deeply connected to her family, community, and heritage throughout her life. She was the great-granddaughter of Chief Sapulpa and the granddaughter of Timmie Fife and Sarah Sapulpa Fife. Of Creek, Kaw, and German descent, Elizabeth took great pride in her ancestry and carried it with strength and grace.

In 1951, she married Joe B. Orr of Kellyville, Oklahoma. Together they raised four children: Michael, Wanda, David, and Terry. Elizabeth and Joe shared a love for the outdoors and enjoyed many years of camping and fishing together, creating cherished family memories.

In 1960, Elizabeth began her long and devoted career at Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital, now OSU Medical Center where she worked for 54 years. For 45 of those years, she served as a surgical technologist, known for her skilled hands, calm presence, and deep dedication to patient care. Elizabeth was a passionate sports fan who loved cheering on the OU Sooners, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Sapulpa Chieftains. Her spirited support made game days a joyful occasion.

She also had a deep love for holiday traditions, especially Christmas. Elizabeth was known for her elaborate holiday decorating and often had up to four fully decorated Christmas trees in her home at once. Her home radiated warmth and joy during the season, a reflection of the generous and festive spirit she shared year-round.

A woman of faith, Elizabeth attended the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Sapulpa with her son Michael and daughter Wanda. Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her father Dawes Fife; mother Irene Brown Fife; her brothers Dawes Fife Jr. and David Herman Fife; and her sister Virginia Fife Ozment.

Elizabeth is survived by her children Michael Orr of the home, and Wanda Triplett; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends who will continue to honor and cherish her memory.
