Marian Joyce Stogsdill was born on July 13, 1940 in Hillsboro, Iowa. She was the eldest daughter of John and Evelyn Stogsdill. She moved a lot as a child, finally ending up in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
Marian married Curtis Hall August 20, 1957. They made their home in Los Angeles, ca. They had 5 children together. She became a young widow at the age of 33. She married Bill Harris on January 16, 1976. They lived in Sapulpa, OK. Her and Bill were married for over 40 years. After his death she moved to Mannford, OK.
Marian was a Jehovah’s Witness since 1967. She was an active member of the Sand Springs Kingdom Hall. She enjoyed being a Witness and loved studying her Bible every day.
Marian worked for many years at John Zinc in Tulsa. She retired from there in 2002. She came out of retirement to work at Ranch Terrace Nursing Home in Sapulpa. She loved working there and affectionately known as “the hat lady” because she would wear a different hat every day! She would say, “Don’t you dare tell Randy how much fun I have at work, or he might start charging me to work here.”
Marian was a fantastic cook and she enjoyed both cooking and baking. Any visit to her house was done around the kitchen table. There was always fresh coffee and a homemade treat.
Marian is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Evelyn and Ron Brown of Georgia, sister and brother-in-law Gwen and John Smith of Claremore, son John Hall of Sapulpa, daughter and son-in-law Jill and Kenneth Troxell of Mannford, daughter Jennifer Reynolds of Sapulpa and daughter-in-law Sheryl Hall of Mounds. Marian loved being a grandma. She adored every one of her grandkids and great grandkids. She is survived by granddaughter Shaun Colluci of Tulsa, granddaughter Allycia Harris Whitekiller of Tulsa, granddaughter and husband Sunny and Larry Hunsberger of Tulsa, grandson Mason Hall of Bixby, granddaughter and husband Kendall and Matt Hagy of Mannford, grandson and wife Kenny and wife Andy and Cassie Berryman of Claremore, grandson and wife Steve and LaCrisha Hall of Tulsa, grandson and wife Scott and Dena Hall of Sasakwa, grandson Shane Reynolds of Sapulpa, grandson and wife Sam and Terra Reynolds of Sapulpa and 38 great grandchildren.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Curtis Hall and husband Bill Harris, brothers Wes and Gary Stogsdill, both of CA, sister Ruth Ward of WA, sons Allen and Todd Hall, both of Mounds, stepsons Randy Davis and Jeff Harris of Sand Springs and son-in-law Lester Reynolds of Sapulpa. She was also preceded in death by many dear pets throughout the years and recently lost her most beloved dog Sassy.
Marian passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 15, 2025 at Hillcrest Hospital. She will be missed by many.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Jul 11 from 1:00 PM at Green Hill Funeral Home - Sapulpa 400 E. Teel Rd., Sapulpa
