It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Lorene E. Solomon, who passed peacefully on July 4th, 2025 surrounded by family.  She was 93 years old.

Lorene was born December 29, 1931 to Ernest and Mable Gray.  She graduated from high school as a valedictorian.  She married her husband, Millard Solomon, and they spent the next 54 years together, until his death in 2004.

She loved life and her family.  She would cook dinner every Sunday for the whole crew.  Both her kids and grandkids.  Sundays were always a family day.  She loved working outside in her garden and yard.  Her yard was always the nicest on her street.  She did her own mowing up to the age of 88.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Mable Gray, her husband Millard, sisters Earlene, Laverne and Bernice.

She is survived by her sisters Willie Mae, Nancy and brother Billy, 3 sons; Jerry, David and Stephen, seven grandchildren; Matt, Katy, Dave, Kasey, Sara, Amber and Brittany, and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She will be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.  She was just a special person.

Funera Service will be held on Tuesday, Jul 8 at 11:00 AM at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel - Sapulpa 400 E. Teel Road, Sapulpa

Visitation will be held on Monday, Jul 7 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Green Hill Funeral Home - Sapulpa 400 East Teel Road, Sapulpa

Lorene's Final Resting Place is in Green Hill Memorial Gardens 400 E. Teel Rd., Sapulpa
