Rose passed away peacefully at 7:32 am on July 8, 2025 at the home of her son Matthew and Miranda Derrick. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

Rose Ann McClary was born on March 27th, 1954 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Thomas William and Nancy Ellen Lance. Rose remained faithful to her pastor Reverend Robert Michael Yeats of the original First Apostolic Church of Tulsa, where a foundation of truth was instilled into the hearts of her husband and children.

On September 7, 1982 Rose married Donald Raymond Derrick and together they raised their 3 children, Jamie, Amanda, and Matthew, until the time of his death on December 4th, 1993. 

On July 27th, 2007 Rose married Carl Michael McClary. Her survivors include:

Jamie Don Lance and wife Joyce Faye Lance of Cortez, CO; four children, Savannah Joy Herrington and husband Landry Herrington, Lillian Grace Fierro and husband Jonathan Fierro, Julie Ann Huey and husband Trevor Huey, and William Bo Lance. Three great-grandchildren; Laikyn Fierro, Colton Herrington and Case Herrington.

Amanda Rae Derrick Hauenstein of Senneca, MO; three children, Baily Dawn Hauenstein, Logan Ira Hauenstein, and Reagan Paige Hauenstein.

Matthew Raymond Derrick and wife Miranda Derrick of Seneca, MO; three children, Addilyn Marie Derrick, Daxton Manaen Derrick, and Scottlyn Rose Derrick.

Siblings, Kay Badgwell and husband John Badgwell, Rhonda Cook and husband John Cook, William “Cy” Lance and wife Janell Lance, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her husbands, Donald Raymond Derrick and Carl Michael McClary, parents Thomas William Lance and Nancy Ellen Lance, brother Thomas Raymond Lance, sister Wiladean Boone, and her great-grandson William Bowen Lance.

Arrangements are in the care of Green Hill Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jul 10 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Green Hill Funeral Home - Sapulpa 400 East Teel Road, Sapulpa
