Sherry Kathleen Reed went peacefully to be with the Lord on July 14, 2025. Sherry was born to John W and Evelyn L Reed on December 24, 1961. Sherry was the third of four children. She was preceded in death by her father John, mother Evelyn, brother John M, her maternal and paternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles. Sherry is survived by her sister Shawn Whitehead, brother Steven Reed, niece Amanda Schofield, 5 nephews: John M Reed II, Casey Battle, Roger Reed, Clinton Battle and Chance Reed and several great nieces and nephews. 

Sherry graduated from Berryhill High School in 1980 as Valedictorian of her class. She   worked as a bank teller and then as a dispatcher for the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Department. She was active in her church Opportunity Heights Baptist Church and Tulsa Hills Baptist Church and her West Tulsa community. She lived her life to the fullest and had a deep fondness for animals, especially cats.  

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday July 24th, 2025 at 3pm at Greenhill Funeral Home 400 E Teel Rd in Sapulpa with visitation 1 hour prior to the Service.  

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 9:00am to 3:00pm at Green Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Services are scheduled Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 3:00pm at Green Hill Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Green Hill Funeral Home.
