Obituary of Michael Neal Orr

Michael Neal Orr, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 72. He was born on February 17, 1953, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, to Elizabeth Ann Orr and Joe Bill Orr. Michael grew up in Sapulpa, where he spent his formative years surrounded by family and friends.

As a child, Mike enjoyed camping and fishing outdoors with his mom, dad, and siblings, creating cherished memories that stayed with him throughout his life. 

He is survived by his sister, Wanda Jean Triplett of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Joe Bill Orr, his mother Elizabeth Ann Orr, his brothers David Orr and Terry Orr, and his grandparents Grover and Eva Orr, and Dawes and Irene Fife.

Michael loved his family and thoroughly enjoyed family get-togethers. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Sapulpa. He also found joy and freedom in cycling, putting many miles on his bicycle rides over the years. Michael had a playful side and loved playing video games, especially car racing games, sometimes staying up as late as 3 a.m. immersed in the thrill of the race.

A true rock star through and through, Michael enjoyed listening to legends like Kiss, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Poison, Motley Crue, and Guns N' Roses—he rocked out to all the greats.

His warm presence and steady kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
