Linda Lou Dunlap, 74, was born on November 29, 1950, at a military hospital in Fukoaka, Japan, to Sergent Donald Dunlap and Helen Dunlap. She passed away on August 29, 2025, at her residence in Sapulpa.
She was a graduate of Sapulpa High School. After High School, Linda worked as a housekeeper at St. Francis where she met her best friend, Geneva Boiling, until she retired.
Linda was a devout Christian and went to church every Sunday. She loved fellowship with other church members, reading and studying the bible, and singing gospel hymns. She also enjoyed conservative TV, westerns with John Wayne, and excursions with her best friend Geneva.
She is preceded in death by her parents Donald J. Dunlap and Helen F. Dunlap, grandparents Daisy Crain and Winfrey Chanler, and Henrietta Tillery and Turner Barnes, and siblings Linda and Donella.
Linda is survived by siblings Jacqueline Dunlap, Terry Wilkinson, John Dunlap, and Richard Dunlap, nieces Gemma and Madalyn, nephews David, Dillon, Bejamin, Colton, Josh, Justin, Dustin, and Noah, and special family dogs Mikey and especially Pixie who slept in Linda’s room.
