Mary Louise Sandridge Melot Burris, 85, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 8, 2025. She was born to Carl Sr, and Gertrude Sandridge on February 6, 1940. She attended Sapulpa High School. After High School, she had two sons, Michael Melot of Claremore, and Mark Melot from Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.

She was a very loving, friendly, strong, and independent hard worker who loved giving hugs. She loved working in her yard from gardening with her green thumb, to even mowing and weed eating her own grass. She also loved family get togethers, trips, socializing, playing dominos, and having a cup of coffee every morning, and looking forward to her Saturday breakfast with her family.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Carl Sr. and Gertrude Sandridge, spouse Milton Melot, spouse Emet Burris, step-daughter Diane Custer, sisters Vivian Rivers and Barbara Brown, and brothers Carl Jr. Sandridge, Dan Sandridge, and James Sandridge.

She is survived by her sister Margaret Watts of CA, sons Michael and wife Cheryl of Claremore, OK, and Mark Melot and wife Janice of Fort Gibson, OK, granddaughters Morgan Melot of Sapulpa and Xybelle Melot of TN, one great granddaughter Lynnlee Morrow of Sapulpa, as well as a large extended family full of step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
