Randal Paul Carnes was born on April 4, 1960, in Lebanon, Missouri to parents Paul Erwin and Phyllis Jean (Greenwood) Carnes. He was one of 4 children, along with siblings James, Robert and Nikki. He passed away at his home on October 8, 2025, at the age of 65.
Randal attended Lonestar School, Sapulpa High School as well as Drumright Vo-Tech. He married Jeanie Mathews Carnes at Beams of Light Church on January 21, 2017. Throughout his life he worked at Paul’s Fine Meats, Liberty Glass, and Anchor Glass. Born in Lebanon, MO, he also lived in Tulsa and Sapulpa, OK, as well as Jacksonville, FL and Irving, Texas. Randal attended Cross Pointe Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed fishing horses, spending time with family and friends and his little dog, Pepper. Randal was a fun-loving jokester. He enjoyed making others laugh. Even when he was in the hospital, he retained the ability to “cut up” and make everyone laugh.
He is survived by his wife Jeanie Mathews Carnes; children Janie Pendley (Chris), Justin Carnes (Ashlie Richie), Ashley Bell (Dennis), and Nikki McClanahan (David Black); grandchildren Kyler, Peyton, McKoy, Stella, Lovee, Olivia, Emma, Madelynn, Lillian, Haylee, Teegan, Arika, Joshua and Gabriel; father Paul Carnes; siblings James Carnes, Robert Carnes, and Nikki Randolf; nieces and nephews James Jr., Kimberly, Cruz, Cara, and Kaylee; bonus kids Clif Mathews, Brent Teague, and Brittany McQuary, his beloved dog Pepper; and many more extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Jeannie Carnes.
