Vivian Rosetta Learned Obituary

Vivian Rosetta Learned, 96, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 10, 2025, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother; her greatest joy in life was her family. She was born on December 29, 1928, and lived a full life of love, laughter, and devotion.


While raising her children, she worked as a cafeteria cook and lunchroom attendant at Washington Heights and Lone Star School, where she was loved by students and staff alike. She was known for her wonderful cooking and baking, and her family will forever remember her famous cinnamon rolls, apple pie, and homemade vegetable soup.


Vivian loved spending time with her family, playing games, and crafting. Her spirit was so creative. She attended Forest Hills Baptist Church in Sapulpa and lived her faith daily through her kindness and gentle spirit.


She is preceded in death by her mother Lela Banks, husband Val Jean Learned, sisters Barbara Schneider and Kathleen Miller, brother Joyce Banks, son David Learned, granddaughters Samantha Learned and Angela Foley, grandsons William Timothy and Wade Reese, and great granddaughter Journey Learned.


Vivian is survived by children Rosetta Farmer and husband Steve, Linda Atchley and husband Guy, Pam Graham and husband Eddie, Barbie Perryman and husband Todd, Steve Learned and wife Lynn, and daughter-in-law Sue Learned, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.


Vivian’s warmth, patience, and laughter touched everyone who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in her family’s hearts.
