Pat Ross

November 2, 1947 – October 23, 2025

Pat was born on November 2, 1947, in Nowata Oklahoma. He attended Nowata High School where he played basketball, participated in band, won track meets and most importantly, met and married his high school sweetheart, Jan. After graduating in 1966 he began working at Phillips Petroleum as a computer and system’s analyst and after 26 years of service, retired at age 44.

Pat had a tremendous sense of humor and was known to pull pranks and make everyone laugh. He was filled with love and led a vibrant, active, life until he became ill. He was an active church member and served as a Deacon at Hillside Christian and an Elder at Cornerstone, both in Nowata, OK.  He enjoyed multiple interests including travel, hot rods, motorcycles, 4 wheelers, breeding quarter horses, scuba diving in exotic places and played drums in a band with his lifelong friend J.D. Above all, Pat was a family man. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews as they grew up.

Pat went to be with our Lord and Savior on October 23, 2025. His memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife Jan, of 59 years, children and grandchildren, Shelly, husband Mark, Kirk, wife Laura, Kolton (who Pat thought hung the moon), little Katherine and many other family members and friends.

Pat touched so many lives and we are better people for knowing him. We will miss his love, laughter and shenanigans. We can be in peace knowing that he is in paradise with our heavenly father. He is gone from our sight but will remain in our hearts forever.
