Carol Dean Dunbar (Laughlin) passed from this life on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the age of 76. She was born on December 21, 1948, to Virgil Calvin Laughlin and Adolphus Eloise Laughlin McCoy in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Carol lived in the Sapulpa area for her entire life, graduating from Sapulpa High School in 1967. After high school she worked in a variety of areas.  She worked for Durametallic in a one girl office for many years, followed by Oklahoma Turf and Irrigation where she was a manager.  Her last area was working for Tulsa Public Schools in many varied positions before retiring in 2015.

She is survived by her daughter Jacki Denise Dunbar Woods; her grandson Hunter James Woods; her granddaughter Rebecca Anne Woods, her sister Roseellen Marie Davidson of Mangum and sister Janette Sue McClanahan of Sapulpa; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Jeremy Dow Dunbar; her brother Bruce Calvin Lauglin and her granddaughter Amanda Rene Woods.

Carol was greatly loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Visitation is scheduled on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 9 am to 5 pm at Green Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at Green Hill Funeral Home on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 2:00 pm with interment in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are in the care of Green Hill Funeral Home.
