Lanaya Ann Palmer Obituary

Lanaya Ann Palmer passed from this life on the night of November 29, 2025.

She was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on November 7, 1966. She was the daughter of Delmar and Donna LaJune Bruton, and sister to Trinda Long and Delmar Bruton Jr. She met the love of her life, William Allen Palmer when she was 14 years old. Shortly after, they were dating, and then they married on April 17, 1985, in Woodward Park. Together, they had three beautiful children- Natosha Haggard, William Palmer Jr, and Caleb Palmer. She was then upgraded to Mimi by Skyler, Zane, Naya, Ryatt, Artemis, Damien, Sylphie, Connar, Karlee, and Camden.

Lanaya’s love for fishing, camping, and the outdoors was evident in her enthusiasm for these activities, which she pursued at every available opportunity. Travelling, especially to beaches and lakes, was another passion of hers. She and Allen would frequently take motorcycle rides, even for short trips like going to Walmart. Their annual anniversary trip to Branson was the highlight of her year, and an adventure she never grew tired of.

Her exceptional gardening skills earned her a reputation for having not just a green thumb, but green hands. On Cooler days, she enjoyed working on puzzles, and baking, filling the kitchen with warmth. She was also a dedicated collector of Emmett Kelly Clown figurines and Snoopy memorabilia. She had a weakness for mini works pizzas and Mexican food.

The love she shared with her husband, and her role as Mother and Mimi were the most rewarding aspects of Lanaya’s life.
