Linda Bernice Anderson Petitt passed from this life peacefully in her sleep in her childhood home on December 1st, 2025, at the age of 77. 

She was born on March 27, 1948, to Ralph and Bernice Anderson in Sapulpa, Oklahoma where she was born and raised. She graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1966.  On June 9, 1967, she married her high school sweetheart at Ridgeway Free Will Baptist Church. She then worked and retired from First United Bank as a Loan Assistant. 

Linda was full of joy and she loved children.  She also loved spending time baking with her grandson, and hosting the family get togethers.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who made sure to be at all events to show her support and love, with her Diet Mountain Dew in hand. She always made sure to put everyone else first; she was the glue of her family. She loved big and spent her life caring for others in their times of need.

Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband Ronald “Ronnie” Petitt, her parents Ralph and Bernice Anderson, and her siblings Sandra Dee Anderson, Dwayne Anderson, and Sherry Anderson.

She is survived by her daughter Kelley Soerries and Fiancé John Curt, Grandson Jacob Soerries, Nieces Erica Hartnauer, Kristen Clay and Casey Headrick, and many other great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Linda was a source of welcoming love and warmth to everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
