Lovella June Perkins Moore, 82, of Sand Springs, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 27, 2025.

June was born April 11, 1943, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Ernest and Jossie Perkins. She graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1961 and received her Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Tulsa Junior College in May 2000.

June married Dadie Jay Moore on August 2, 1962. Their marriage brought four children: Malcolm, Anecia, Neal and Thelma.

June was an Assistant Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed attending Church of God and going to Monarch Springs camp meetings. After her husband Dadie passed away in 1989 the family formed the Wednesday Club. In her spare time, June enjoyed working on ceramics, drawing, macrame, crocheting, painting, quilting, reflexology, gilding, scrapbooking, working on her family tree and the Perkins family reunion. June was very organized and supportive of her loved ones.

June was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Jossie Perkins; her husband Dadie Moore; and siblings Ernie Perkins, Frank Perkins, Dorothy Meek, Barton Perkins, Thelma LaFaver, Alta Bock, LeeRoy Perkins, Juanita Welch, Frances Perkins, Eudell Perkins and Pauline Perkins. She is survived by her children, Malcolm and wife Karen of Sand Springs; Anecia and husband Danny of Sapulpa; Neal of Sand Springs; and Thelma and husband Mike of Tulsa. She is also survived by grandchildren LaDale, Chris, Hank, Lindsey, Bradley, Brehonna, Timothy, Serena, Stephanie, Tennon, Bobby, Josie and Gabe; seventeen great-grandchildren; brother Elmer and wife Naomi Perkins of Beggs; sister Loretta Trowbridge of Sapulpa and a host of extended family and friends.

June was greatly loved and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, Dec 31 at 1:00 PM at Green Hill Funeral Home 400 East Teel Road, Sapulpa

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec 30 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Green Hill Funeral Home 400 East Teel Road, Sapulpa
