Kenneth Ray Whitehead was born in Stigler, Oklahoma on August 11th, 1946, to Ruby Hayes and Loy Whitehead, raised by Wesley Chambers. He was one of 3 children with siblings Wayne and Perry. Papa Ken passed away December 28, 2025, in Bristow, Oklahoma. He was 79 years young.

Papa Ken was the father of Bryan, Shawn, Karen, Robin and Arthur, and Danielle. Grandfather to Michael, Jacob, Kenny and Alyssa, Justin and Samantha, Demi, Coda and Katie. Great Grandfather to Kru, Knox, and Shyanne.

Papa Kens favorite things to do was being a Cowboy, spending time with his Diesel pup, hunting, fishing, shooting guns, anything about John Wayne, and working on anything with a motor. He was also a proud member of the Navy, NRA, and AQHA. In his younger years he was bull and bronc rider and a team roper with his best friend Rodney. We all know he is in a better place in Heaven with his late wife Vicki Whitehead.

Life will never be the same without his love for others and much knowledge. Till we see you again, we all love you Poppy.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Jan 2 at 10:30 AM at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel 400 East Teel Road, Sapulpa

Kenneth's Final Resting Place is in Ethel Reece Cemetery 88 Co Rd 2400, Barnsdall, OK

Arrangements are in the care of Green Hill Funeral Home.
