Jim “Jimmy” Kralik of Sapulpa, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed from this world on January 13, 2026, after a two-year battle with colon cancer. He was born on December 11, 1944, in Britton OK., and settled down in Sapulpa in 1973.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 51 years, Sylvia E. “Loy” Wortman Kralik, his daughter, Loy Carlene Sunday, his mother, Lillian Lowery, step-father Earnest Lowery, biological father Mitchell “Mike” Kralik, aunts Jessie Acree and Della Romine, sister Wanda Russell, and brothers Fred McGuire and Mitchell Kralik. He is survived by daughters Kari Kralik, Kristi Howard, and husband Tony, sisters Gladys Caldwell, Bonnie Webb, and brothers Billy “Pete” Kralik, and Henry Kralik and wife Evon, grandchildren Schelli Nordskog and Marnie, Brooke Brun and Johan, Katie Johnson, Kyle Howard and Jenna, and great-grandchildren Ethan and Wyatt (Elita) Brun, Kameron, Kylah, and Paxton Johnson, Brayleigh, Rylan, and Embree Howard.
He retired in 2020 from Anchor Stone with 60 years total work history. He was Quality Control in the asphalt industry. He had helped with the construction of the Keystone Dam. His expertise and knowledge is literally everywhere that there is a road. He was the kindest, most loving man that you would have ever known. He never raised a hand or shouted in anger. Anyone who got to know him knew the strength of his love and devotion for his family, and his generous spirit. He loved God and served others. That is his legacy.
The family is haveing a visitation and viewing on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 9am until 12:30pm at Green Hill Funeral Home. There will not be a funeral service, per Mr. Kralik's request. Burinal will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens at 1:00pm.
