Steven Wesley Dale was born on September 14, 1950, in Snyder, Texas to Jack and Geneva Dale. He departed this life on February 14, 2026, at the age of 75, after a long battle with cancer. He lived in Bristow, Oklahoma off and on.

He worked in the oil field both offshore and inland in New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. He also was a bull rider and a welder for a brief period. He loved gardening and the outdoors, working on cars, watching western movies, watching the Dallas Cowboys play football, building things, playing chess, and spending time with his family.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters Kathy Green, Patsy Cross, and Debra Dale, one brother Jimmy Dale, two nephews Max Rodriguez and Cory Rodriguez Saville.

He is survived by his three children Steve Dale and wife Karen, Jason Cugle, and Brian Dale all from Maryland, one sister Judith Cartee of Sapulpa, and several grandchildren Kaitlyn, Tyler, Kyle, and Addyson.
