Imogene Kathrine Layer was born on July 4, 1936, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to parents William and Eva Haney. She went to be with the Lord on February 24, 2026.

She married LeRoy L. Layer on February 4, 1955, and spent 60 years until his passing in 2014.

Imogene has three sisters, Betty Jo, Delores and Glenda, and one brother Billy.

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Eva Haney, sister Betty Jo, and brother Billy.

Imogene is survived by her children LeRoy Layer, Kathy Simmons, Marie Layer, and James Layer, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews who all loved her.

She will be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a special person in everyone’s life.
