Teddy “Dwight” Bock Sr., 64, was born on June 14, 1961, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Ted & Alta Perkins Bock. He was the third of 4 children & his parents’ favorite son. Dwight went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 23, 2026.
Dwight was known for his steady faith, servant’s heart, and quiet strength. He was the kind of man who showed up consistently, faithfully, and without seeking recognition.
He worked at Sunoco in the early 80’s as credit card debt collector. He was also both a Realtor and a Systems Engineer, combining his practical skills with a natural ability to help others. From 1987 to present, he worked in different fields as a Computer Programmer, a Systems Engineer, & in Database. He also spent time at American Airlines, Sabre Group, and EDS. He was one of the “Magnificent 7” at Hewlett Packard, 2014 & DXC.
Dwight was a Chairman of the Board at the Glenpool Chamber of Commerce from 2018-2019, and he served on the Agent Leadership Council with Keller Williams Realty Advantage and as a Young People’s Teacher & Trustee for many years at Church of God -Frankoma Road. He was also a member of Monday Night Supper Club & Holly Rec Club. Whether assisting families in finding a home or solving a complicated technical problem, he approached his work with integrity, patience, and dedication.
He was a mentor to countless young people over the years, even welcoming them into his home. He offered not only a listening ear but steady guidance and encouragement. Many teenagers and classmates found him to be a safe place, wise counsel, and a man who genuinely cared. He taught practical life skills, modeled integrity, and invested his time generously in youth, church events, and community activities. He had a unique gift for connecting with young people, meeting them where they were, and helping them grow into who they were meant to be.
A man of remarkable determination and ability, Dwight built his home and shop with his own hands, serving as his own general contractor and completing much of the work himself. He believed in hard work, self-sufficiency, and passing those skills on to the next generation.
More than anything, Dwight loved his family. On June 22, 1985, he married the love of his life. He was a devoted husband to his wife Kimberly for 40 years, and a proud father to Teddy Dwight Jr. and Ronnie Kelly. He cherished his role as PenPaw to Lucas Colt, Thompson Klein, Adalie Victoria, and Emelyn Sophia. His grandchildren were a source of deep joy and pride, and he delighted in watching them grow. Dwight also had many nieces and nephews and treasured his time with each of them.
He was preceded in death by his mother Alta, and his sister Beth.
Dwight is survived by his beloved wife Kimberly, his sons, Teddy Dwight Jr. and Ronnie Kelly (Olivia), their “adopted son,” Austin (Kelsey) Kelly, his treasured grandchildren, father Ted, his sisters Colleen (Marvin) Probst and Karen (Curtis) Williams, uncle Ronnie & aunt Jeanie Bock, and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.
