Kenneth Leroy Heath Obituary

Kenneth Leroy Heath of Mounds, Oklahoma was born on March 8, 1938, to parents Jack Benjamin (JB) Heath and Nadene Helen Sowers Harper. He left this life to meet his Lord at the pearly gates of Heaven on March 17, 2026.

At the sheet metal union where he worked, he was always known as a dependable worker who people genuinely liked and respected.

Kenneth met and married Talma on November 23, 1979. They were steady, genuine, and full of care for one another. Although he married her later in life, the two of them shared a beautiful love story that people admired.

He was a hard worker who took pride in what he did. He spent much of his time outdoors doing what he loved most, fishing, growing vegetables, and raising cattle. He had a special love for animals ever since his childhood dog Sport. He even had a dog named Lady later in his life.

Kenneth also had a real love for food and the simple joy of going out to eat. He never turned down a good meal, especially if it involved a cheeseburger, catfish, or biscuits and gravy. He was known for making chocolate gravy for his grandkids, something they will always remember. Also, if there was peanut butter around, you could count on him eating it by the spoonful. Food and sharing meals with others were some of the many ways he showed his love and how he found happiness in everyday life.

Above all, he was the absolute best dad ever. He will be missed by so many.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents JB and Nadene, wife Talma Heath, daughter Sheila Heath, stepson, Brian Williams, and sister Louise Ames.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters Shannon Heath and Sonja Hohensee, son Steve Heath, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
