Melinda Lou Geeteh was born on January 13, 1965, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Gene and Linda Whitsitt. She had two siblings, Holly Cowden and Kirk Whitsitt. She passed away on March 22, 2026, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma at the age of 61.

She married and spent 27 years with Roger Geeteh. She worked for many places, but the longest for AAA. She loved gardening and growing flowers, being outside around her pool, playing the piano; she was even in several choirs throughout the years.

Melinda is preceded in death by her parents Gene and Linda Whitsitt.

She is survived by her spouse Roger Geeteh, siblings Holly Cowden and Kirk Whitsitt, children Derek Carper, Nick Carper and wife Veronica, and Blake Carper and wife Emily Carp, and grandchildren Nolan, Marcelina, Mason, and Brooklyn.
