Linda Sue Rankin, 78, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 17, 1948, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jack and Juanita Henson.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Juanita Henson; her husband of 39 years Jim Rankin; her sister Patsy Richardson; her brother Jackie Henson; and her daughter Sandy Dubuc.

She is survived by her children Randy and Lori Rankin, Karen DeArmond, Shelly Simpson, and Shaun and Jennifer Rankin. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Steven and Stephanie Rankin, Zachariah Boyd, Thomas Rankin, Maddie Sutton, Kayelee and Ian DeArmond, Faith Carter, Hope Doshier, Hannah Wilcox, Seth and Jayden Simpson, and Shaun and Tyler Dubuc. She is also survived by her nephews Ernest and Jesse Henson.

Linda lived a life centered on faith, family, and love. She was a faithful member of North Heights Church for 37 years, where she built lasting friendships and grew deeply in her walk with Christ. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and her greatest wish was that everyone would come to know Jesus and join her in heaven.

She found joy in the beauty of simple things, especially flowers and gardening. Her yard was filled with carefully tended flower beds, a reflection of her nurturing spirit. Above all, Linda treasured her grandchildren. Her home was the place everyone wanted to be—the “fun house” where laughter filled the rooms and love was always present. The grandchildren loved being with her so much that they often didn’t want to leave at the end of the day. Those moments together will remain some of the most cherished memories for her family.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at North Heights Church in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, under the direction of Green Hills Funeral Home. Services will be officiated by Pastor Ronny Hardage and Pastor Jerry Epperson.

Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will live on in the hearts of her family for generations to come.
