Laurel Anne Hill, 81, of Collinsville, Oklahoma, passed away on April 6, 2026. After a life marked by strength through illness and hardship, she is now at rest and free from pain.

Laurel Anne Hill was born on June 29, 1944, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She spent much of her life in Collinsville, Oklahoma, where she created a life centered around family, laughter, and the simple joys that meant the most to her.

Laurel adored her grandchildren and treasured the time she spent with them. She also had a special love for her cats, who were always close companions. She enjoyed shopping, especially when it meant spending time with friends, and she never passed up the chance to enjoy a good steak at her favorite steakhouse.

Known for her fun-loving spirit and warm sense of humor, Laurel loved to laugh and brought lighthearted joy to those around her. She also enjoyed watching Kansas City Chiefs football and proudly wore a shirt her family gave her that read “I Am a Swifty,” a playful nod to her love of the team.

Laurel was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Deanna Louise Green, and her husband, Paul G. Hill.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Shawn Hill, and daughter-in-law, Shonna Hill, and her niece Candice Keightley. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her great joy.

A Celebration of Life for Laurel Anne Hill will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Collinsville Baptist Tabernacle in Collinsville, Oklahoma, officiated by Pastor Boyd.

Though her body grew weary from years of illness, her spirit remained strong. Now her suffering has ended, her chains are gone, and she rests in peace
