Leslie Buell “Les” Jameson, 81, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, passed away on May 3, 2026. He was born on August 8, 1944, in Sapulpa, where he spent much of his life and built a legacy of service, family, and friendship.

Les was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna Jameson; his father, Wayne Jameson; his mother, Clorene Finch; his stepfather, Heber Finch Jr.; and his sisters, Paula Beaty and Lucy Kirby-Davis.

He is survived by his brother, David Jameson of Chicago; his son, Don Jameson of Tulsa, along with his wife Bryndle and their children, Brendan and Collin; his daughter, LesliAn McConnell of Oklahoma City, her partner Larry, and their children, Jameson, Jack and Cooper; and his daughter, Stephanie Miksell, her husband Richard, her son Matt along with his wife Heather and their daughter Lilah. He is also survived by dear friend Carolyn Hacker and the many members of the OFWCC Car Club of Sapulpa, whom he considered extended family.

A proud graduate of Sapulpa High School’s Class of 1962, Les remained deeply connected to his hometown throughout his life. He served his community with dedication, including many years as president of the Sapulpa High School Board of Education, where he worked to support students and strengthen local schools. He was also a respected member of Sapulpa Masonic Lodge #170.

Les had a lifelong passion for all things mechanical. From hotrods to motorcycles, he found great joy in working with his hands and sharing that enthusiasm with others. His love for classic cars was not only a hobby but a defining part of his life, bringing him lasting friendships and a sense of belonging within the OFWCC Car Club.

Above all, Les will be remembered for his steady presence, his love of family, and his commitment to his community. His legacy lives on in the lives of his children, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
